Home Gym Made Affordable

Creating a home gym is simpler than most people think. It’s a common misconception that you need a whole extra room, or a spacious home to work out effectively. It’s unnecessary to lose an entire room of your home because you want to be fit, and many homeowners choose to create a “workout corner” as an alternative to dedicating a whole room to working out. Below, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite home gym equipment. All items can be easily stored away when space is needed and easily set up when it’s time to work out!

Ab-Roller

While there aren’t very many different exercises to do with this tool, perfecting the ab rollout will get you well on your way to that six-pack everyone wants.

Iron Gym Pull-Up Bar

Once you’re done your reps of pull ups and chin ups you can do push ups, crunches, and tricep dips if the most efficient ways with this tool.

Foam rollers are an essential asset to anyone who truly wants to improve their physical health, but often go overlooked or under-appreciated. For around 20 dollars you can buy a decent foam roller that will last you a lifetime. These rollers are used as a sort of one man massage using your own bodyweight and can really loosen up your muscles and give you more mobility. Kettlebells

Fit man and woman training by kettlebell.

Kettlebells are some of the most vital tools with regards to cheap strength training. If you are unfamiliar with kettlebells they are the heavy looking thing pictured above. They are cast iron weights with a handle and are used for a variety of different exercises that engage the entire body. While these are very useful tools in the gym, they also require some knowledge to use correctly. Now that you’ve got the tools to improve your physical health, you can think about a few gym accessories you may have overlooked. If you have hardwood flooring, buying a yoga mat may be something you might not have thought of, but it is essential to being able to train effectively, and comfortably. A full length mirror (or a few of them) to check your progress and your form during working out can be very beneficial. These additions along with a water bottle on hand, and a television or radio can make your home gym more inviting than a regular gym, and a whole lot cheaper!
